Today Caitlyn Ritter successfully defensed her Clinical Research Project entitled, “Exploring the Identities of Adults Who Choose Not to Use Their Hearing Aids”. Caitlyn has worked long and hard on this project. We are very proud of her latest achievement and look forward to even bigger ones around the corner!

The Spoken Language Processing lab is incredibly proud of Taylor Chafin. Today she successfully defended her clinical research project, “The effects of talker variability on sentence recognition in noise by listeners with hearing loss”. This means that Taylor is one, huge step closer to her doctorate of audiology degree!

First celebration of the day–Hannah Jones was awarded a Rick Q. Lawson Fellowship. This award is college-wide and shows that Hannah is a graduate student who demonstrates strong academic and leadership skills in the field of pediatric audiology. We’re so proud!
