Volunteer your time and help out with a research study
The Spoken Language Processing Lab is always looking for individuals who want to help us work toward a better understand how people learn about their world through listening.

We are currently looking for the following people to help with our studies…

  • healthy adults with hearing loss who choose not to use hearing aids to share their stories with us about their hearing loss journeys
  • healthy adults with normal hearing to help us with listening-in-noise research studies and record their voices for our Aggie Talker Database

Where to find us?
The Spoken Language Processing Lab is located in the Ray L. & Eloise H. Lillywhite building on Utah State University’s campus at 960 E 700 N, Logan UT 84322.

Our lab is housed within the Department of Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education’s Lillywhite Building off of 700 North on the USU campus. We are located in the same building as the USU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. The clinic has reserved parking spots that can be used by visitors to our lab.

When you arrive at the Lillywhite Building, please use the map that was provided to you via email (or you can download it here) to find a designated “Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic” parking spot. After parking, check in at the front desk on the second floor of the Lillywhite Building. There you will receive a parking tag for your vehicle and our lab will be informed our your arrival.

If you have any problems locating our building please call the clinic’s front desk staff at (435) 797-1374 and someone will assist you with further directions.
