Our lab is interested in the experiences of adults with hearing loss who chose not to use hearing aids.

To participate in this research study, individuals must meet the following criteria: you (1) are 18 years of age or older, (2) have been diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss, and (3) have been prescribed hearing aid(s) and choose not to use them.

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to take a short demographic questionnaire (5 minutes) and share your story with an interviewer for about 30-45 minutes. Interviews can be conducted face-to-face or via phone.

Participants will be compensated $10 for completing the survey and interview.

I hope you will consider sharing your experience with us and/or forwarding this link to other people you know who might be interested in sharing their experience.

If you are interested in participating, please contact us at slplab@usu.edu

If you have any questions about this study, please contact Dr. Brittan Barker (brittan.barker@usu.edu)
